Story Map

Creating a story map is a way to help you understand and summarize the stories you read.  When you make a story map, you identify the basic story elements, such as the characters, setting, conflict, and important plot events.

Title:High wire

Characters:Bill,Sam,Ali,Mum

Conflict or Problems faced between characters:Sam went on the log without a harness then he fell.

Setting:Australia (camp)

The Plot - (Events 1-4) You can add more events if you need to

Event 1:Sam and his friends were cooking their food on top of a fire it taste like ash and smoke.

Event 2:Sam’s cousin standing on the wire without a harness.

Event 3:Sam was on the floating island he was going to fall.

Event 4:Sam was on the obstacle rope he looked down he was very scared.

Climax: (The exciting part of the story when everything comes together) When sam on the floating islands he was jumping around

Resolution: (What happens after the conflict is resolved) Sam’s cousin didn’t want to tell his my about his arm.
